{"id":6248,"date":"2015-02-26T10:15:44","date_gmt":"2015-02-26T16:15:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.whiteeyelash.com\/?page_id=6248"},"modified":"2019-05-10T12:16:20","modified_gmt":"2019-05-10T17:16:20","slug":"matt-frick-and-david-thomas","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.whiteeyelash.com\/?page_id=6248","title":{"rendered":"Matt Frick and David Thomas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve done more music w\/ David Thomas than probably anyone. \u00a0 Funny story about the first time we met&#8230; \u00a0My friend Slinky wanted me to start a band with\u00a0someone who sounded like a mix between Jerry Garcia and Trey Anastasio, his name was Michael Connard. \u00a0 Since I wanted to be Mickey Hart, and my buddy Brian would be Billy Kreutzmann I decided to drive down the street to his place right off Kessler blvd. in Indianapolis probably 1996. Walked in the house, met Mike Connard, and David Thomas was there. \u00a0 Funny thing Dave Thomas and I both thought the same thing when we met each other &#8220;oh god, this fag..&#8221; but then we played US Blues and started the Elephant dance. \u00a0 Been good friends and have made some wonderful music together, I&#8217;m trying to put our whole collection together on this
